Featured Musicians

The music doesn’t end just because the event does. Keep up with the talented musicians featured during the festival.

Grey Slush

Grey Slush’s newest EP, “Out of Touch,” is reminiscent of sitting in the rain and sifting through memories. T.J. Syndram and Jacob Hill share composition and production credits... handing listeners a load of emotional baggage that may require several listens to process... and yet, it is even better live.

Connor Fitzgerald (bass) and Matt Filarski (drums) lend just as much to the band’s magic, forming a rhythm section that is truly the head of the operation. While discreet at first, Fitzgerald and Filarski guide the band up and down in pace and through dynamic ranges.

Grey Slush has put out an album roughly every year since 2021. The band sticks to “a while-supplies-last” model, producing merch all at once for an era/album and then never again. Their live performances create moments and memories due to the nostalgic and “had to be there” feel of their music.

Andy Martinez

Andy Martinez is a singer-songwriter based out of Peoria. She is the lead singer of First Date Kiss who frequently plays in central IL. Her music varies from acoustic versions of FDK songs and her own personal collection of “diary music”.

Emily How

Emily How is a Peoria-based singer-songwriter known for her raw vocals, honest storytelling, and indie-rock edge. Originally from Petersburg, Illinois, she built her sound in the Champaign-Urbana scene before releasing her debut album How Are You Lately?, a powerful reflection on growth, identity, and resilience that blends heartfelt lyrics with gritty alt-rock energy

Cam Camryn

(they/them/theirs) the middle thing. songwriter(poet), producer, shredder, sweetheart.

CAM CAMRYN is based out of Central IL. Right now, they play folk(ish) grunge(ish) music. Their first single is out on Bandcamp with all proceeds benefitting the Midwest Immigration Bond Fund.
